In addition to skills training, we recognize the importance of personalized support. Our second pillar focuses on offering tutoring services to students with ADHD in grades Kindergarten through Grade 12. We understand that every student's learning needs are unique, and we are committed to providing individualized attention and guidance. Our highly qualified tutors will work closely with students, adapting teaching methods to suit their specific learning styles and pace. By tailoring our approach to each student, we can help them overcome academic challenges, strengthen their understanding of critical concepts, and unlock their full potential.

Our first pillar of academic services for students revolves around providing ADHD skills training to children ages 6 through 13. 1. How many sessions will a $1,500 voucher cover?
A $1,500 voucher will cover:
25 one-on-one sessions (once a week for 25 weeks or twice a week for 12.5 weeks).
37 group sessions (once a week for 37 weeks or twice a week for 18.5 weeks).
Parents will need to cover the cost of tutoring sessions once their voucher is depleted if they wish to continue tutoring services for their child. Think of tutoring as an investment. Can you afford NOT to make this investment in your child's education and future?
2. How do I know if my child is eligible for a voucher?
Voucher eligibility varies by program and school type. Vouchers are only available for public school students. Typically, eligibility is based on factors such as academic performance and financial need. Contact us to discuss your specific situation, and we'll help determine if your child qualifies.
3. How many weeks of school instruction time are there?
In Louisiana, a typical school year consists of approximately 36 weeks of instruction time. If your child attends one group session per week, the $1,500 voucher may last the entire school year.
4. How do I determine if my child needs a 1:1 session or would benefit from a group session?
One-on-one sessions are ideal for students who need personalized attention and tailored instruction, while group sessions can be beneficial for students who thrive in a collaborative learning environment. Our tutors can help assess your child's needs to determine the best fit.
5. How do I enroll my child in tutoring services?
Enrolling your child is easy! Visit our website and fill out the enrollment form, or contact us directly. Our team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
6. What is ADHD skills training, and how can it benefit students diagnosed with ADHD or students who lack organizational skills?
ADHD skills training focuses on teaching strategies and techniques to manage symptoms of ADHD and improve organizational skills. This training can help students develop better time management, task prioritization, and study habits, leading to improved academic performance and reduced stress.
7. How soon can my child start tutoring?
Once enrolled, your child can start tutoring as soon as the next available session that fits your schedule. We strive to accommodate new students promptly.
8. Will my child have homework?
Yes, your child will receive homework to reinforce the concepts learned during tutoring sessions. This practice helps solidify their understanding and improve their academic performance.
9. What subjects do you offer tutoring in?
We offer tutoring in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Literacy, and Organizational Skills Training. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of each student.
10. What are the qualifications of your tutors?
Our tutors are highly qualified educators with extensive experience in teaching and tutoring. They are trained to address diverse learning needs and are committed to helping each student achieve their academic goals.
11. Can tutoring sessions be rescheduled?
Yes, we understand that schedules can change. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule a session without penalty.
12. What happens if my child misses a session?
If your child does not show up for a scheduled session without prior notice, you will be charged 50% of the session cost. Our tutors spend time creating individualized lesson plans, preparing, and commuting for scheduled sessions. Therefore, we must be notified in advance of cancellations.
13. Why am I charged 50% of the session fee for a session where we don't call or show up for our appointment time?
One of the unique aspects of our tutoring service is the creation of individualized learning plans for each student. Unlike a classroom environment, where a teacher plans for an entire class at once, we tailor each session to your child's specific learning style and needs. Our Academic Coaches/Tutors dedicate valuable time and expertise to prepare high-quality lesson plans for each session. This personalized approach ensures that your child receives the best possible support, but it also means that missed sessions result in lost time and resources for our tutors.
Out of respect for our Academic Coaches/Tutors, and their time and talent, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment. Sessions not canceled within 4 hours of the appointment time will be charged 50% of the session fee.
After three no-call no-shows, students will be dropped from our tutoring services. It is the responsibility of the parent to be proactive and notify us in advance of the need for cancellation. We aim to reach as many students as possible, so your child may lose their place, which could be assigned to another family in the event of continued missed sessions without advanced notice.
14. Do you offer online tutoring sessions?
Yes, we do offer online tutoring sessions. However, it is important to note that online tutoring is not effective for every child. The success of online sessions depends on several factors, including the student's age, attention span, ability to work autonomously with a tutor, and capability to follow directions without needing frequent redirection from a parent.
If our Academic Coach/Tutor finds that online tutoring sessions are not effective, they will inform the parent to find a better alternative for your child. Our primary goal is to improve your child's knowledge and understanding of educational material, eliminate learning challenges, and set them up for success in their academic journey in the future.
15. What is the cost of your tutoring services without a voucher?
One-on-One Session: $60/hr.
Group Session (2:1, 3:1, or 4:1 ratio): $40 per hour, per student
16. Can vouchers be used for Organizational Skills Training?
No, vouchers cannot be used for Organizational Skills Training.
17. Are parents allowed to participate in their child's session?
Parents are allowed to be present during on-site tutoring sessions but cannot become a distraction. Our goal is to help students overcome any learning challenges, and sometimes, parents being present can cause children to feel disappointed when they don't get answers correct. If parents become a distraction, they will be asked to allow their child to attend sessions alone.
Additional Requests for Parents:
Virtual Sessions: Ensure students attending virtual tutoring are dressed appropriately, in a presentable and organized location, and not a distraction.
Grades K-2: For virtual sessions, a parent should remain nearby. Children in this age group may have difficulty paying attention and need parental prompting to re-focus, as well as assistance with the computer.
Supplies: Students need to bring their paper, pencil, and a folder for worksheets to each tutoring session. These supplies are not provided but are imperative for a student's success in our tutoring program.
